Here’s my  K-12G tube amp kit from S-5 Electronics .. 

I don’t understand how these things work, I just followed the instructions… anyone who can solder could do it.

 The case is an upturned baking tray  (Home  center),  the tube cage (to keep small fingers from getting burned) is another kitchen accessory (Home  center),  all mounted on an old bread board …

これはS-5エレクトロニクスのK-12真空管アンプキット。
どんな風に動くのか正確なところはよくわからないけれど、
ハンダ付けなら誰でも（私でも）出来るってことは言える。

そこで…ケースにしたのはひっくり返したオーブントレイ（ホームセンターで調達）。
真空管には（小さな子供の指を火傷から守るために）キッチンの水切りをかぶせる
（これもホームセンター）。
これらを古いカッティングボードに乗せる。

I changed the switch, fuse holder and soldered all the components onto the bottom of the circuit board so I could mount it with the tubes sticking up through holes in the ‘case’.

スイッチとヒューズホルダーを交換し、回路基板にコンポーネントをハンダ付けする。
オーブントレイのケースに開けた穴から真空管が突き出すように据え付ける。

Still burning in the capacitors (takes about 50 hours).
All good fun, sounds really great for a 180 buck amp!
Sounds really lush through a set of heavy 1970’s  Victor speakers.

コンデンサの慣らし運転もいい調子（約50時間）。
180ドルにしてはほんと素晴らしく音がよい。
1970年代のヘビーなビクターのスピーカーを通せば豊かな音が広がる。

 
Tube amps have very high voltages and can kill you (really!) if you are poking around inside, so be careful folks!
Always discharge the capacitors!
(If you’re an expert, let me know if you spot something stupid on my amp!).

真空管アンプは電圧がすごく高いので取り扱いは慎重に。
中をつついたりすれば感電して死んでしまう（本当に！）
コンデンサからは常に放電している。
（詳しい方、もし私のアンプを見て「馬鹿なことしてるよ」という箇所があったら教えてください）

The  warm sound  of valve amps goes well with  long winter nights by the wood stove !
Somehow 50’s/60’s rock and roll,  jazz, and vocals all sound really good.
 
 Great little amp !

バルブアンプの温かみのあるサウンド…
薪ストーブと一緒の長い冬の夜がさらに楽しくなる。
50年代60年代のロックンロール、ジャズ、ボーカルのサウンドが特にいい。

小さなアンプは偉大だ！
